Federal Ministry of Agriculture - Department of Education, Russian Federation

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is an executive body responsible for the elaboration of the main trend of activities in the fields of agriculture to transfer into society. The Ministry of Agriculture also acts as supervisor for subordinate bodies coordinating specific branches of agrarian industry. It is responsible for all Agrarian Higher Education Institutions in Russia (not the Educational Ministry) and its development. Within the project the Department for Education supports the project activities.

The Department of Education is the governmental body responsible for higher education in the fields of Agriculture, Food Chain and Life Sciences in Russia. In this respect, the project results will directly influence the development the Russian educational system; supports the project in respect of promoting the selection process by providing information to a wide network of about 300 universities in Russia, participating in coordination meeting, furthermore the department for education monitors the project results.


Association of Educational Institutions in the Fields of Agriculture and Fishery, Russian Federation

Association of Educational Institutions in the Fields of Agriculture and Fishery is a state institution established for supervision at agrarian Universities, getting in contact with them for awareness of their real needs, demands and the prospective development of them. Thus the AAFEI acts as a link between the Ministry of Agriculture and Russian Agrarian Universities for better mutual understanding and synchronization of their policy for efficiency.

AAFEI creates links between the partnership and target group 2; supports the project in respect of promoting the project by providing information to a wide network of 201 institutions within Russia, participating in coordination meetings, monitors the project results.


Moscow University of Finance and Law, Russian Federation

Moscow University of Finance and Law is one of the largest private universities in the Russian Federation. Since 2003 MFUA has held 1st place in the Russian rankings of Accredited Non-Governmental Institutions of Higher Education. In 2012 there were appr. 43.000 students enrolled, 18.000 of whom are based in Moscow. The students study at one of 8 regional campuses, or are enrolled in a degree-seeking distance learning program of study. MFUA has a strong internationally-oriented Business School that offers MBA and Master programs. It implements an “active learning” approach into its curriculum, invites practical experts, enhances its cooperation with companies and gives its students as much practical experience as possible.  MFUA partners with the Association of European Businesses, American Chamber of Commerce, European Foundation for Management Development, European Retail Academy, and Russian Association of Business Education. University has reliable partners in EU, USA and Asia.

MFUA as an experienced private HEI will assist and consult the consortium in building ties and links to the business sector. MFUA will participate in the coordination meetings and planned conferences, report about its Russian and foreign business contacts, links to business sector and existing international MBA and Master programmes. MFUA will also attract TG2 candidates through its network and therefore be involved in the promotional and dissemination activities.


Organization for Projects in Ecology, Agriculture and Rural Development, Germany (APOLLO)

The NGO “Organisation for Projects in Ecology, Agriculture and Rural Development in Eastern Europe” (APOLLO registered association) was founded in 1991. It is active as a non-profit association in training and education in Germany and Eastern Europe. APOLLO conducts exchange programs for interns in agriculture with Russia, respectively Ukraine and Belarus. The objective is an intensive cooperation with stakeholders in the partnering countries, combined with mutual professional and cultural exchange. APOLLO is focused on practically oriented training of young professionals in the agricultural and food sector and unites professional training and awareness of ecological sustainability, social responsibility and civil engagement. The successful history of the APOLLO is based on the commitment of numerous voluntary members and supporters and resembles in a vivid network of APOLLO-graduates, representatives of the agro-business sector, of public entities and associations.

The NGO Apollo will be as associate partner involved in consulting the partnership regarding its experiences with placement periods for students and young professionals from Russia. Apollo will help to disseminate the information about the project through its vivid network of graduates, representatives of the agro-business sector, public entities and associations in Russia and in Germany. Apollo will also attract potential TG2 candidates through its network.
