Mobilities

IAMONET-RU offers mobility opportunities on five different levels:

1. Undergraduates (Bachelor-students):

Students enrolled in a first cycle higher education program, who will obtain after the completion of the program a first higher education degree. Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of studies in their home institution.

2. Masters:

Students enrolled in second cycle higher education programs or persons, who have already obtained a first higher education degree or a recognized equivalent level of learning according to national legislation and practices.

3. Doctorates (PhD-students):

Early-stage researcher at the beginning of his/her research career, starting at the date of obtaining the degree which would formally entitle him/her to embark on a doctoral program.

4. Post-doctorates:

an experienced researcher who is in possession of a doctoral degree or who has at least three years of full-time equivalent research experience, including the period of research training, at a research organisation established in accordance with national legislation and practice after obtaining the degree which formally allowed him/her to embark on a doctoral programme offered by higher education institution.

5. Academic staff / Administrative Staff:

a person with outstanding academic and/or professional experience who lectures or conducts research in a higher education institution or a research organisation established in accordance with national legislation and practice. The mobility of staff should contribute to strengthen international co-operation capacity of higher education institutions in third countries, with the production of new teaching material, as well as their management capacity. It should aim to consolidate and extend links between departments and faculties and to prepare for future cooperation projects between the universities.

Remarks:

Masters scholarship for 8 months is divided in 6 months studies at the host university and a 2 months placement period in another organization in the host country.

The grant covered:
  • round tickets from home institution/city to host institution and back according to the distance based travel lump sum
  • monthly health insurance up to 75 € monthly
  • monthly subsistence allowance (in Euro) according to the scheme above.

The grant was paid by the host institution to the grantee directly; EU students / staff received the grant from their home institution to their accounts.
